Steve Stu Hunziker
Keyboards, Backing Vocals
Steve Hunziker, aka "Stuart", began playing keyboards high school with friends in the bands LRH, Naked Truth, and Blue Crystal. Stu continued to play in bands in college while earning a Bachelor's degree in television production from Ferris State University. Having grown up in the 80's, Stu was influenced by progressive, new wave, alternative, and classic rock, and bands like Yes, The Police, Genesis, U2, Asia, The Doors, The Cure, Tears for Fears, focusing on heavy pads, strings, and synth sounds. Stu spent the 90's and 2000's playing in popular local cover/original bands Aisle 5 and The Twin Pigs. He is a founding member of Metro Detroit based cover band 7venth Son, who he still plays keyboards and rhythm guitar with when he's not working on one of his other musical projects.
Thoughts On Pink Floyd
"Among those 70's and 80's bands that helped to influence my style was Pink Floyd, and their exquisite arrangements with heavy keyboards, organs and sound effects, which stood out among the other heavy rock groups. In the Flesh Part 1 was my first Floyd cover, which I performed with the mid 90's cover band "Aisle 5", which later counted Fred Eppensteiner and Daniel Neiwolak as band members."
